I am aware of the effects of sloping armour, but not how it works out between the two turrets on this particular tank. So, as the turret upgrade isn't needed for either of the gun upgrades, is it truly worth waiting for or is it a must have?Ĩ5mm more frontal armour and 10m more view range. I do use the 105mm on the JPanther and I am quite happy with it, but I have often had my doubts. 1/16 scale 10.5cm Manlet for a Tiger II conversion (SJR8SH6AY) by wozwasntere on Shapeways. The 105mm has less pen, but I am aware of overmatch. That's a BIG difference in cost for little theoretical difference in performance. Shells cost close to 1000 credits.ĥ.5 x 320 HP = 1760 HP a minute at a cost of around 5,500 credits. It has 200mm penetration and around 320 damage. ![]() The first 105mm has a RoF of 5.5 rounds a minute. It also costs about 250 credits per shell.ĩ x 250 HP = 1750 HP a minute at a cost of 1750 credits. It has 202mm penetration and around 250 HP damage. ![]() Officially it is around 9 rounds a minute. I am currently on 20K XP and so it is question time- Upgraded turret or first 105mm gun first. Once I am more mobile and can put unlocked upgrades on, I start playing a (high tier) tank. I have the Tiger II and using Free XP for the tracks and mounting the upgraded engine, I have had a fairly good start on this grind. ![]()
